How we practise

  • You receive the OMARA Consumer Guide before engagement.
  • No advice work starts before a signed service agreement, per the Code of Conduct.
  • Identity verification and a conflict-of-interest check run before every engagement.
  • Fees and scope are agreed in writing; variations are agreed in writing before extra work starts.
  • Visa decisions are made by the Department of Home Affairs and assessing authorities. We do not and cannot promise outcomes.

Complaints

Raise any concern with us first at contact@betterimmi.au; we respond within five business days. You can also complain directly to the regulator at any time via the OMARA complaints pathway. Using our internal process first is not a precondition.

Privacy policy

What we collect

Enquiry form submissions (name, contact details, enquiry topic, your message) and, for clients, the personal and documentary information a migration matter requires. This site sets no marketing cookies and runs no third-party ad trackers.

How it is used and stored

Enquiry data goes into our client management system (Zoho, hosted in the cloud) and is used to respond to you and manage your matter. Client files are stored in access controlled systems. We use AI tools internally for drafting and analysis; client information is not used to train third-party models.

Disclosure

Information is disclosed only as a matter requires (the Department of Home Affairs, assessing authorities, or parties you authorise) or where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.

Access and correction

Ask at contact@betterimmi.au to access or correct your personal information. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles and our confidentiality obligations under the Code of Conduct.

About the content on this site

Articles and guides on this site are general information prepared from public primary sources (Commonwealth legislation and Department of Home Affairs publications). They are not immigration assistance and not advice for your circumstances. Migration law changes without notice; where a page shows a draft date, that is the date the text was last edited, not a promise of currency.
